About

From injury back to moving

Physio + is Mazen Hammoud's practice, and it covers the whole road back: injury and physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, sports performance, alternative medicine, stretching and recovery. That means hands-on treatment when you are in pain, dry needling and trigger point work for what will not let go, cupping and medical massage, pressotherapy for recovery, and strengthening and agility work so the thing that put you here does not happen twice. Pick a session and a time that suits you. You get a WhatsApp confirmation and a reminder before your appointment.

FAQ

Good to know

Everything you need before your first session. Still have a question? Message us on WhatsApp.

I am not an athlete. Is this for me?

Yes. Most of the work here is everyday pain: backs, necks, shoulders, knees. The sports rehabilitation side is one part of the practice, not the whole of it.

What is the difference between dry, wet and slide cupping?

Dry cupping is suction only. Slide cupping moves the cups along the muscle, closer to a deep massage. Wet cupping is hijama, done clinically. If you are not sure which you want, book a physical therapy session and it can be decided together.

What should I bring or wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in, and anything you already have from a doctor: a scan, a report, a referral. It all helps.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the injury and how long you have had it. You will get an honest answer after the first assessment rather than a package sold up front.
